CASE STUDY: BOOK COVER DESIGN FOR AN ESPIONAGE FICTION NOVEL

A book cover for a spy novel set in 1980s Berlin. The goal was to communicate
the themes of the book—propaganda, cheaply reproduced pamphlets, and coded messages—through my design. I wanted to give a nod to the Cold War aesthetic while creating a fresh and eye-catching cover.
I experimented with spot UV mock-ups for the title to add texture to the paperback cover.
