DIGITAL VISUALS FOR A CLOTHING BRAND
ODD JANKO
A melange of eccentric, classy and strange, odd Janko draws on elements
of Slovak decorative folk dress and symbolism, and the old Central European charm.
The collection features a range of wearable art creations for grown-up eccentrics, offering an elevated and sophisticated clothing line, infused with the drama
and melancholy of my Motherland.
Because this is my passion project, I create most of my visuals myself.
Death Becomes Them Web/ Social Media Visuals
At odd Janko, I constantly strive to strike the best possible balance between responsible
and environmentally friendly sourcing, production, and quality. In September 2024, I launched the Death Becomes Them line- a collection of upcycled, individually selected vintage and pre-owned pieces, to grow odd Janko inventory in a sustainable and creative way.
DBT 1st Birthday Collection
About the collection
I created this core visual based on the hero piece- the Babushka scarf. I opted for the pink one, as it created a pleasing visual continuation of the branding used on hang tags and responsibility manifesto for social media. I wanted to communicate the playful side of the brand. I used this visual in the newsletter announcing the 1st Birthday collection drop, and it achieved 55% 'opened' with 10% 'clicked' and 18.18% 'ctor' rate. Used in an Instagram reel, this visual achieved 10% higher retention rate than typical.
Social Media Carousel: odd Janko/ DBT Responsibility Statement
The 1st Anniversary of the Death Becomes Them line fell onto the same week as Brighton's Sustainable Fashion Week. I used this opportunity to showcase the collection at the opening night runway show, and introduce the line to new audiences online, focusing on our responsibility and sustainability manifesto. I designed a visual carousel, keeping the colours and ornamentation of the branding used on odd Janko and DBT hangtags for brand continuity. The carousel performed very well and gained above average engagement.
